Windows 10 will not boot after reset free
Why is it since yesterday, Windows 10 on my PC does not load? Most of the time, when I boot, the Windows logo appears and underneath the spinning wheel but then, after a while, the screen just goes blank and nothing happens. If I then switch off my PC, it simply just switches itself back on again repeatedly without Windows loading even if I uninstall and re-install the battery. Then if I do a System Restore to an earlier restore point and after the process completes, if I click on Restart, Windows still does not load and once again either the Recovery screen appears or the Windows logo with the spinning wheel appears and then the screen simply goes blank yet again.
I even left the PC swittched on with the blank screen for a few hours but in vain. What could be the problem and how do I get Windows 10 to load correctly without having to re-install Windows 10 and loose all my files? Can someone please help? This thread is locked. You can always check if the option is available. Some time ago I did do a Reset on another PC and it removed all my settings and installed Apps; only personal files were retained. In the current situation, Option 2 Keep my files would be disastrous.
You’re actually right. The personal files are the only ones kept if you chose option 2.
